1994 convert. 2002 C5 coupe
Hi Everyone.
Need some help on finding an insurance company.
I am trying to insure my 1994 C4 Convert. and my 2002 C5 Coupe.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Tom.

Well you live in New Jersey, which is a whole new game when it comes to car insurance. Only three years ago there was a lot of companies that pulled out of the New Jersey market. I would recommend Gieco or State Farm, If they do businees in NJ. i believe that the state might be able to help you towards a carrier who is state approved.

The insurance company website will:

1. Give you an estimate on your insurance.

and:

2. Tell you whether they are doing business in New Joisey.

You will find your insurance will be GREATLY reduced if you do ALL your automobiles AND your home with one company.

I, too, use State Farm and am VERY HAPPY with the rates.

hth,

Jim

This must be the State Farm corral... I too have State Farm as my insurer for home and auto, however, I live in Florida and State Farm is pulling out of the state, so I will be seeking insurance myself very shortly.

See if you qualify for New Jersey Manufacturers. The initial policy may not be much different but you get back money at the end of the year depending on how the company did.

Wife handles this stuff but I'm pretty sure it's worth it because I hear her say .... "We should have signed with them years ago" ....

I don't have the guts to remind her that the reason we didn't qualify was ... her ... her ... her ... driving record and the points she was carrying.

Ain't it a hoot what they can forget? ;squint:;LOL

Add me to the State Farm list. I have been with them since 1975!

If the car is only used for pleasure, try Grundy International. Its a collector car insurance company but there are no restrictions on milage.

Previous company was 950 / year, Grundy is 380 / year.

Ditto on State Farm....

I have a "withdrawal from use" policy. I call up when I put the car in the garage and call back when I take it out. $480 for six months, full coverage (covered while in garage of course), $250.00 deductible...

Add me to the State Farm list. I have been with them since 1975!
