heres my intake manifold before durring and after. you can see the busted thermostat housing bolts:mad that sucked. the rest is blasted aluminum powdercoat. thought id share the work ive done on this too.

Looks nice. Should be easier to keep clean too.

hello. ive been away for a few weeks. yes. i use a erg valve. the engine is equiped as stock. the manifold and other parts were done in my garage by myself. i also coat for a reasonable fee. im in florida but i have some people from cali who send me motorcycle parts on a weekly basis. if theres anything anybody needs done im here for ya.
 
Looks great! Just make double sure you get all of the blasting media out of the intake! Also that tin heat shield can hold alot of that crud and if it gets into the oil system ouch!
 
oh ya! thats for sure... when i first started rebuilding motorcycle heads, i made that mistake and it didnt work for long. the dissassemble and inspection of the head in question was evident that there was glass left behind. it will never happen again. you live and learn. so, how do you know of such disaster? the mistake was terrible. owning up to the customer was even worse. but paying for it really hurt. all in all, that guy is now my best customer. i finish parts for them weekly.
