Could someone help with torquing sequencw for the intake plenum? I can't find the url. Thought I saw it either here or ZR1.net.

Hi , its very easy dont use a torque tool !. ( no im serious ) just bolt it lightly handtight
, the torqtools wont fit between some bolts and the housing , and also the torque moment is SO light , that its better to do the "normal" handjob !.
Start in with the centerbolt ( in the middle) on one side, than the middle bolt on the other side then bolt the 4 corner bolts in a cross direction, than go back to the ones
next to the middle ones and then work your way to left and right crosways.
Realy dont worry , the gasket is very good, it wont ever leak.
feel free to ask more if needed.

Thanks. I have correct torx long enough to get between the runners. One of the thread is stripped so I'm gonna have to helicoil it. Have you had any experience with helicoil? I saw your post regarding swiching out a LT5 for a big block. Should be a interesting project.

Well if you gonna torq the bolts , the correct moment is 20-25nm.( thats very
light ).DONT PUT ANY locktite on the bolts , just put them plain inn.
Yes i hope to get startet with the project 562 this winter , but depends on budgets and time !!!.
Iff any help needed, just ask !. Rebuild my engine twice (lt5) so have some
experiences. ( bare 100% rebuilds, incl.cranck. withour having to get the engine out of car ! )
WATCH VERY GOOD WHEN YOU PUTT THE PLENUM IN, THAT ALL THE VACUUMS
ARE FREE OF RUBBING AND ALL CONNECTORS ARE HOOKED PROPPERLY !
