So I have my interior lights working turns out I have corrosion on the headlight switch contacts. I cleaned the contacts and I have lights but they still seem dim to me. I was flipping through an Ecklers catalog today and I saw they have a upgraded headlight switch that will work with newer higher amperage halogen bulbs. I also saw that they have 50 watt halogen bulbs that they say will increase the brightness by 2 1/2 times. My question is what are the original bulbs wattage rating and has anyone used the newer bulbs and did they make a noticeable difference in brightness? Thanks for any input.
