My '65 has the day/night interior rear view mirror.
When I drive the car at night and try to put the mirror into the night position to reduce brightness of headlights behind me it eases itself back into the regular day position within about 15-20 seconds. It just won't stay into the night position.
Anyway of repairing this myself or is it something I need to send out to someone for rebuild and if so who?
This is about the least priority "project" currently on my car but since it's currently out of the car I figured I might as well get the info now. If I can do it great. If I need to send it out to someone it will have to wait a little while.
