Interior roof panel holders?

When I store the roof in the back of my '84 Vette, it rattles BAD when I hit even a slight bump. I'm afraid the sucker's gonna crack on me. There used to be rubber pads (I think they were rubber anyhow) in the front holder brackets.

Corvette Central has a good exploded view of the brackets. I think the part you are looking for is the "bumper", but I don't know if you can buy it seperate. Looks pretty simple just to fabricate 'em.

Steve- Mid-America has them part #622-837-Inserts,Roof panel storage brackets for 84-96. They also carry the brackets as well.

My top would rattle and I put a rubber in it then when I opened the hatch needed to get something out from under the top. I forgot about the rubber and raised the top and that is when I heard a cracking sound. Broke the corner out of the top. That little mistake cost $1200.00 wish I had just let it rattle.

I bought a full size fully padded leather pouch/holder for my top. Keeps the top nice and safe and free of anything that may scratch or damage it.
