Question: Interior wiring 70 Vette

I began to pull the center console out (4 speed) while replacing the carpet. Don't have it all the way out yet but I did notice a couple of wires running under it from the rear of the car going forward. One was badly frayed; any idea where these wire go or what they are for? Or a wiring diagram for that part of the car?

...any idea where these wire go or what they are for?...

Post a pic of what you found. I'm guessing one of the wires goes to the ebrake switch.

Do you have the 1970 assembly instruction manual (AIM)? It helps and will show the ebrake switch and wiring.
