Hi there,
Well, there are really a lot of differences to list here.
Engine block, head combustion chamber, intake port dimensions, valves and springs on the 02, camshaft.
What type of details are you looking for???

How can a transform a LS1 engine in a LS6 engine? What is the compression of a LS6? Is it higher? Does the LS6 have a different crankshaft or pistons? What is the difference in de heads? Bigger valves? The rollercam?

So please, tel me some.................

HI there,
The first thing is the cylinder heads, which are different, to give the LS6 engine about 10.5 to 1 compression ratio. Also, the valves are sodium filled in the 02 model year, to give lighter valve train weight. Pistons, rods and crankshaft are basically the same, although, they have been strengthened some.
The intake was changed on the 01 and newer, to give better torque and throttle response. All 01 and newer Corvette have this same intake manifold.
The camshaft is the largest difference that makes LS6 the power house it is. 02, the camshaft was changed again to make 405 horsepower.
Also, the engine control program is different.
So, with that, you can see that alot is different in the LS6 vs LS1.
