Welp? I'm keeping it. I want to thank all of you who replied. I've enjoyed your input greatly. 
The "issues" continue to drive me just short of absolutely freakin' mad, but, hey.... what can I tell ya. Computer problems have precluded me posting for quite some time (in short, needed to get a new computer - wasn't high on my priority list).... I wasn't off in a depression or anything. 
The car has not grown on me since my last posts - in fact, it's pizzed me off more and more over time (code problems from steering column lock bypass and tire/rim change-out).... but I've come to the conclusion I was just attached to the other car. I've jazzed up the interior a bit (decals, mats, etc.), so it's a little more "colorful" - Corsa Paces are on (tiger shark tips)...gotta love that trademark gurgle. Sometimes just a little bit of personalizing does a wealth of good.
I hope all of you have been well. I'm off tomorrow for a week of fishing "up north"... if all goes as planned (ha!), we'll be gorging ourselves on walleye tomorrow night. I'm not holding my breath, though. Usually we come back with the same amount of Shore Lunch we went with. Enjoy your 4th of July weekends, peeps!! Great to be back in the fold, as it were.
