Is anyone running a 290 adv. duration hyd. roller cam ??

How does it idle , and when does it smooth out...a what rpm ??? What other characteristics can you share ?

I am running a cam very close to that advertised duration, but it's not a roller. That's a pretty large cam for a roller type. Anyway, my idle is fine @ 850. It's what you might call "noticeable", but not "lumpy". It could be very different for the roller, though. Roller cams can usually acheive higher lift for the same amount of duration as a hydraulic flat-tappet.
