While the old Corvettes still bring us back to the "old days" with their charm, charisma, and memories, more and more people who own them are looking for exactly what you said...dependability, fuel economy, creature comforts, etc., etc. I sell Corvettes and always have guys coming in asking why we don't have the 50's and 60's. I tell them we are listening to our customers, and they want the newer ones now. Having said that, we did just get a '57 beauty and an '80!
