'85 L98- rough idle. New plugs, wires, TPS etc., etc. I've replace all vacuum hoses since those plastic vacuum tubes are so brittle they break if you look at them!
Down to the EGR- 140,000 and the original EGR. After taking it off, it was cruddy to say the least. When I apply vacuum to the valve, no movement whatsoever. All I get is a hiss within the body of the EGR I'm right when I think this is toast, correct?
By the way, I read several threads about how difficult is was to get the 3/8 nuts off to remove the EGR. I used a small mini open end with one side "hooked" at an angle and it was easy....although I used very little pressure to get the nuts loose.....seems like they were maybe too loose!
