Ok I have a question How many C2‘s & C3 with 427 where made between 66-73 and how many are fakes

I have a guy who did a complete restoration job( off frame) on a 1967 427 vert with red interior,

Who’s selling it for 15 grand know I don’t know any thing about the C-2 and the C-3

He’s also claming a 1969 427 vert also. He claims he restores all corvettes that are related to the 427’s.

I smell a rat.

Is there a list some where with vin numbers, And color codes so I may be able to do some fact checking .

Thank you

first off, the 427ci motors were only available between '66 and '69 - not '73. In '70 they started with the 454ci big block motor.

If this guy is selling a '67 427 vert for $15,000 than let me know where it is. At that price even without the motor being original and numbers matching I'll buy it!! Seriously, a '67 BB car that was framed off restored should be selling in the $60,000 - $100,000 range. Even more if you go by this years B-J auction prices.
At $15,000 something is seriously wrong in this picture. Are you sure the car wasn't stolen?
;LOL

you can't even do the restoration for $15,000 let alone sell the car afterwards for that amount. I've seen complete basket case project cars missing half the parts sell for a higher amount than that.

Something smells fishy there and I'd run away as fast as possible
