I ordered an O2 sensor for my 81 and this is suppose to be it. (see pics).

So, my old sensor had two wires and a different connector and the new sensor just has one wire and a round connector. Have any of you changed the sensor? Is there a wire adaptor I need? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Jeff

This is the sensor they used on early C4's. Self grounding and one signal wire.
Our sensor (like you say) have two wires (signal and ground).

You could make a adaptor from a two wire terminal to a one wire terminal but if you don't want to change anything then I would return it for the original. If your willing to change something then I would return this one and get a heated one (3 or 4 wire) But then you'll need to get a 12v source from somewhere. :)

Greetings Peter

You have the wrong one, any of the big name auto supply stores should be able to give you a direct replacement for a reasonable price ($20). I got mine from autozone, plugged right in
