I took the car out briefly last night after applying step #3 of the Mother’s wax system to her. She’s shining like new money! I had to take a run down Doe Run Rd. just to see if Mike’s grandmother would remember me. You guys are correct about the attention. I just can’t get over the the difference between the attention drawn by my ’66 coupe and this one. And the coupe is Rally Red for Pete’s sake! Can’t miss it, that’s for sure and with a 427/390 and side pipes I can’t exactly tip-toe by anybody. Jim, the top isn’t in bad shape but it does have some discoloration on it that I can’t remove. When I change it I’ll be in touch. How about you guys that have C-1’s post a picture or two. Showed ya mine, your turn now. Restoration progress photos welcome!

Terry, no problem at all on the discolorations on the top- It will still look better than the one I have now (currently don't have one ).

You have given me such great expectation for when my '59 is complete.. Not to knock the '66 at ALL, but I think everyone gets more used to that body style and the Stingray body more than the C1 style.. It's one you don't see on the roads anywhere near as much as the others (please don't anybody get mad at me for saying that!!!)
