Check the section where all the pics are....gallery I think.

BTW when do we get to hear about your new car?

Keep your eyes peeled to the Callaway Pics thread...I'll have some more of this stuff to post soon.

It's funny how everyone can pull stuff out of context and then uses at their own disgression to make a point? The point of that post in the CF is pointLESS. Typical behavior to say the least.. I haven't posted over there in over a year because so much of that ridiculous keyboard warrior crap happens over there. You'd think that the Forum management would take a little bit more pride in managing the content. Oh well, their loss. We had more Callaways in the the Celeb picks than any other "special" edition :booty

Sam got the ZR-1 Killer

Sams car in the magazine article is listed as the ZR-1 KILLER What more could you ask for. In the Article his car has Dymags. We should post that article on the other forum .

I don't post there any more, but that would be sweet !:D

This was basically my response to that thread:

I've said it before and been criticized for saying it, and I'll say it again regardless, it's one thing to be proud of your Corvette, it's another to let that pride cloud reality.

There is so much, "he said, she said, I heard, rumor has it" bull**** in that thread, that it's a total waste. People can't just be happy that they own and drive a Corvette. It seems some of them have to wear the type of Vette they drive as a badge of honor. Someday, reality will turn around and bite them in the ass. Enough said.

I can say, because I've owned so many vettes thru the years, that they are all bad ass, in their own way. I'm lucky to currently own both, ZR1 and Callaways and have driven both to extremes, with full satisfaction, any of which can hold their own against any exotic competitor . Both cars represent one of many top achievements of Corvette history.

Actually, you said it quite well. Every Corvette is bad-ass in its own way. One particular Corvette may not be as much of a performer as another, but the important thing is it says "C-O-R-V-E-T-T-E" somewhere on the car and that's all that matters.

Unfortunately, a few people are too good to realize that.

We've seen it time and time again when it comes to comparing the ZR-1 to the Z06 and now when comparing the ZR-1 to Callaways. Instead of being concerned about whether or not their Corvette is faster than another, some Corvette owners should be more concerned about the little rice rocket on NOS that's capable of sucking the doors off a Vette, or the pocket rockets coming over from Europe.

Can't we all just get along,,, and then go pick on the Z06s.
The Z and the TT are great cars that get to the same place via different roads. I like them both and most of their owners are cool. Every time I have had one of my Zr1s at the track and a Z06 was around the owner was cocky and usually vanished after we or I had times posted. I have not yet had my TT at the track but I assume the same will happen. As far as the "your car is not factory" goes it is simple. Do you have an option code? If you do your factory ( hell my car was part of the GM purchase program)!!!! Or do we need to go and tell all the Buick owners that their GNXs are aftermarket.
I think GM should be thanked for realizing that there are others out there like Callaway, and Mercury Marine who can do things a little better.
