Can someone let me know if I am correct: The rear C6 jack points seem to be the place where the suspension is connected to the axle, y-shaped yoke. There is a bolt going through the axle front to back and this bolt holds the suspension in place. The jacking place is right under the area where the bolt is - am I correct?

Many thanks.

Anyway, here's a picture, might help.

The red square areas you have shown are listed in the '06 Service Manual as either optional or frame contact hoist locations. The preferred locations are the 4 points underneath the rocker panels.
You should be good to go using any of those you have marked in yellow or red.

Great idea to use a model and highlight the areas you can use to lift/jack the car. Thanks.

Hey WNH...

How did ya roll your vette upside down to take that picture???

Hope you didn't get any fluids leaking out on your living room carpet.

Good luck.

Thanks to all for the information, I think I've got it right.

Rolling it over was easy, getting it thru the front door was the tuff part. :boogie
