Just about to acquire a 77 corvette but no catalytic converters & I am in California!

Anybody have any info on how much $ and work is going to be required to get this baby legal in California? Apparently it is from the Northwestern United States where smog is not such an issue....

I just replaced a cat on another car with an after market unit for about $500. You may need some pipe work.

Contact your local California DMV Office and ask what you are going to need to meet emissions testing requirements.
