Hi All,
I just purchased a 1996 Collector Edition (CE) LT4 and am so happy that I found this board!! Seems to be a lot of information on this board.
Just some info - the car I bought had only 32K miles on it and was in great shape. The guy sold it since GM made him too good of an offer on a convertible 2004. It only has one top, but that is fine. What's weird is that I didn't even know how to drive stick before buying the car, but I knew I wanted a stick!! It only needs new tires, which I'm getting installed this weekend (Goodyear F1-GSD3).
I also just bought a K&N air filter with open lid and air foil, but I want to keep the car stock as I want to maintain its original feel and look.
Does anyone have any articles on the LT4 that they can share? In particular, there is one from December 1997 in Corvette Fever that I heard is great. Motor Trend and C&D, and others would also be nice.
It seems as if there is not as much info on the CE. Most of the info on the LT4 is related to the Grand Sport (GS).
Thanks
P.S. No pictures yet - It's fall and rainy in Chicago now.
