Anyone had this problem where the engine just shuts off while driving. I have had this happen 3 times so far. The Corvette shop said it was a dirty fuel pump fuse in the fuse panel. They cleaned it and it seemed fine. Yesterday it quit again, I pulled the FP fuse put it back and still nothing so I pulled a few more just to check, put them back in and it started. It is obviously something with the fuse panel I think!!! I was wondering if anyone else has been down this road?:hb

Thanks, that was the first thing I had checked. Usually those don't go good bad good. When they quit they are dead forever.

cruzer,

To me, you have just described the second most common way an electric fuel pump fails. The first is they just plain quit without warning never to run again. I suspect that if you wait long enough that yours will reach that point.
