I'd guess the next autos how appearance will be Chicago Auto Show in early-mid Feb. It's easily the most attended show in the country. GM never leaves anything out of that show.

I find it difficult to imagine GM didn't take this into account.
As the owner of a C3 who gets the hot foot after any spirited driving, I have to say the prospect of sending that heat up and over the cabin instead of baking the floors is greatly appealing to me.

I don't think it will be noticed. How much buffeting or air turbulence does the current C6 get? Either way, the air coming out over the hood will be negligible. It's not like it's evacuating 180°-200° air. The air coming out will be warm, but not blistering hot. As soon as it mixes with the outside air, by the time it reaches the roofline, the heat content will have dissipated enough to be inconsequential.
There's other properties of physics involved beyond that. In a somewhat similar line of thinking, consider the temperature of the air inside the exhaust manifold or in the catalytic converter. And how hot is that air by the time it exits the exhaust tips? Heated air quickly dissipates in most situations.
That sucks. Maybe because their only C7's are still at the Detroit Auto Show? Regardless, that's a bummer. :cryWent to the Philadelphia Auto Show yesterday and it was disappointing (though not unexpected) that there wasn't a C7 at the show.
That car is absolutely gorgeous. I love the styling, maybe it was the color and wheel combo but man
I love it. Square tail lights and all. To me it is all corvette. Not even close to a Camaro. I can't wait
to see one in real life. Great job GM, maybe my tax dollars didn't go to waste after all.
