I hear ya... mods never end! I just saw a 52mm throttle body on ebay for less than $200... I was tempted, but couldn't tell if it was just some guy off the street porting the stock 48mm TB's.

yup.. there are places that do it at a fraction of the cost of a new TB... check around thou as I've heard quailty can vary.

On a stock LT4, a 52mm TB is worth practically nothing for a power gain. Even on a fairly modified motor of heads, cam and headers they have shown to be worth very little, you need to be spinning the motor at some very high RPM's or have a stroker before you'd see much benifit from a larger TB.
