I've been in communication with Bert Heck, Performance Kits Mgr. at K&N Filters, regarding the rollout of their kit for the Z06. He says that the kit should be availble by the first part of next month.
Their dyno test results have shown a 20 HP improvement over stock with this kit. He did mention that it will have a carbon fiber top and bottom and their traditional media. Unfortunately, he was not able to estimate the retail price point for this item yet.
