King of the Lake...

I hope when it comes time to sell that the prospective buyers would be told of the water intrusion even if it is much later down the road. That vehicle would be totaled by the insurance company. I wish him the best in getting it straightened out.

In FL the car would not be totaled. If it goes into salt water it is totaled but fresh water usually brings only a flood classification. At the auction you are told it is a water car and in the case of salt water you get a Certificate of Distruction title which means you cannot title the car in FL. In some cases I have seen flood cars come with clear titles.

The key is to get at electronics and engine as quickly as possible and dry them out.

Yeah - the driver of the car sent me a message asking me to blur his lic. plate - I went ahead and removed all the pics - :ugh

Hi 89 -

Go figure....Oh well.

I saw a post about this wreck on another board and was hoping to see pics - but I can imagine what it would have looked like.

Not good.

I still get a laugh out of the folks that are afraid of showing a license plate on the internet.....as opposed to wearing it out in public.....

Go figure -

thanks for posting them anyway -

best regards -

Admirable to honor his request.

I bet the driver feels pretty bad about the whole thing. Important thing is he’s ok. That Z would’ve landed on its roof, could’ve been a different story. Only takes a moment for your life to change forever.

Had he been upside down on impact the compression factor alone could be fatal... very lucky to come through the way he did... it was a happy ending when you consider what could have happened...
