knob help

Does anyone know what this knob does??? I know it turns and dims the dash lights, but it also depresses. Can't seem to figure out its function.

Look at pg 2-70 of your Owner's Manual. It is listed as A. It is the instrument Panel Brightness Control.

Push it in to keep from inadvertantly changing the settings. Pop it out to adjust things then push it back in. There are several knobs like this in the C5. Check the radio.
