Know what these wires are?

This is under the cover for the Bose rear pass side, not connected, quick disconnect bullet terminals (speaker works)

Also, while we are looking at that part of the car, under the cover for the speaker - the front part looks like it has vents or louvers to let the sound out, but its just a piece of insulation underneath!

You can see it in the attachment picture.

Makes you think there is more speaker than what actually is underneath.

What's up with that?

My guess is that at some point in time, this car had a aftermarket speaker system in it. When removed they just left the wiring.

Maybe I'll Hook up an old speaker to it & SEE what happens. Excuse sloppy typing!

In the later C-4 years there were 2 speakers under the grill... woofer and tweeter..I wonder if yours is wired for it but was never installed or if it was removed at some time...

I donno, it's VERY stock. But it sure looks like the grill was made to have a speaker under it. Having said that I don't think there is enough clearance for even a small speaker. Too shallow.
