Does anyone know off the top of their head the correct pushrod length for a late L98? I believe its 7.2 inches but I'm not sure. I know the correct way would be to use a pushrod length checker, which I have, and measure it after adjusting the rockers, but I thought I'd take the easy way out and ask. From what I understand hydraulic roller cams and lifters don't vary the pushrod much, unlike flat tappet or even hydraulic lifters, where getting the proper pushrod length is more critical for proper valve train geometry.

Thanks

yes 7.2 but if you change the heads, then I would check using the method you described

Thanks -=Jeff=- .... Nope keeping the stock heads for now. Just putting in the Hotcam/rockers/springs, new valve covers, big mouth intake, and large tube runners for now. When I do the 383 then I'm going with new heads.
