Word of caution for all you Roller 350 guys. I just rebuilt the top end of my 90 to stop my CLACKING problem, but it turns out to be a bad design by GM. To make a very long story short the steel lifter retainers are CLACKING against the block (STEEL TO STEEL) with the lifter movment. if you replace your lifters spend a little more and get lifters with there own link bars and trash the steel retainers and spider plate in the 88-89-90 and91 roller 350. My loss "BIG TIME!"your gain, just thought I would share this with you.
