Hi Everyone.
What is the best program and cable?
I would like to connect my laptop to my ALDL connector to monitor the vital functions of my engine (02, RPM, Lean/Rich, Temp, Etc) for trouble shooting and perfect tuning.
I have a 1990, L98, with mucho miles on it.
Have any of you had any luck? If so, what product do you use. And how does it work?
I tried one, but couldn't get it to work, so, before I send it back I just wanted to get some feedback. Any thoughts and help would be great.
Thanks.
Tom.

Datamaster provides you with 20 trial logs. You will need an aldl to serial cable. I think I bought mine from AKM cables. I will check for sure, I think the logo is on there somewhere. The ultimate is getting a wide band O2 sensor. That will yield best results on how the motor is running. I currently use both datamaster, and an LM-1 from innovate.

Hi.
Much thanks.
Went to their web page.
I will call them in the AM.
