Last project before I decide on a blower

We used to hang those "C" cans in a wire basket from the Huey's rotor balance arm and let them sit in the turbine exhaust (at ground idle) for a couple of minutes to get them hot (almost any of them tasted a lot better when they were hot). Hint: Puncture the can first, or they make a hell of a mess when the can explodes. ;LOL

We had an M-88 (Tank Retriever) in our outfit...we called her "Baby Huey" as in the sixties sunday paper cartoons. She was powered by a Big Azz Cummings Deisel. We use to stack our cans up on the exchuast headers and fire her up... inside of 2 min they were just right.

...well, as long as the directions on the heated C-rations say "Point this side towards enemy", you should be OK..

..you know, Claymore's would do wonders for the deer population on my property

Yeah ... I could see that.... I could picture you laying in the bush with a Claymore Duct-Taped to your head ...This Side Toward Deer...A trigger in one hand and a Mar-Tuny in the other...

Yeah... That's the Ticket....:D

Oh you guys know how to prepare a hot meal…. But how did you cool your beer?:confused
When we went back Christmas of 73 to back up the Seal extraction Uncle Sam had removed all of the coolers and ice machines from the boon-docks so we would put a couple of cases of beer in both wing nacelles and fly up to 15000 ft for a few min.
Bingo! Ice-cold beer at a cost of less than $5000 to the tax payers.:D
