I am thinking of setting up a webpage that will show-

How to do the "Cut stock lid" or "Open Lid" free mod
How to do the Throttle Body by-pass for free (Without the kit)
How to overide the 2 cooling fans for 3 bucks (without the kit)
How to make extensions for Rhino Ramps so a late model C-4 wont scrape, for 10 bucks.

I had some pictures of how to do these things on this site but they were lost during the server change.

What do you think??

Definitely. I'd like detailed info on all of those. Thanks!

mobil 1 ad for c4

Dear Warren S,

I have many car mags from 93-95 ( R/T,C/D etc.). Tell me what mag has your ad and I will check for you. If I have it I will get a copy to you. When are you going to post the perf mods on your page?

Best regards,
Gerry

Gerry-

I dont know what issue of any magazine had the add. I think it was in a motor trend during 94 aor 95. Thank you for looking!!!

OK, I am going to take the pictures this weekend for the web page, if it stops raining, I have to take the car out and put it on the ramps.

Thanks for the feed back folks!!!

If I can't find this ad you can call mobil perhaps they would be kind enough to help.

Thanks for the pics and info Warren and others. I am still checking all my mags from 93-95 for your ad. It has me curious to find it now.

Best regards,
Gerry

Thanks Warren, pictures worth a thousand words. Do you think the wire colors are the same on 1996 LT4?

Well, I could only guess so. They are the same on two 94s that i worked on.

What you can do to be safe is, using a volt/ohm meter, set for DC volts, ground one probe from the meter to the frame of the car and with the other you can pierce the "skin" on the wire. With the ignition in the on position, and the A/C on there should NOT be any voltage.

So if you ground that wire and nothing happens, no damage will be done.

Does this mod cause any error codes in the computer?
