On my 82 I have one head light that is about 3 seconds slower than the other. Is this due to a bad actuator or just in need of lubrication? The vac line all look OK.:confused

cruzer82,

Generally, lazy head light doors are an indication of leaking actuator shaft seals. While a leaking vacuum line, the actuator itself, or other problems could be the cause, the shaft seal is the most common. The seals and boots are available from nearly every corvette catalog and are not too difficult to replace. I have not done mine, I know there are members here who have, so any tips or advice I'll leave to the "already done that" folks.
