Anybody ever get entirely fed up with their digital dash and just swap the whole thing out for nice, round analog guages? If you have, please tell me how tough a project it was. I'm thinking hard about it, as I'm not really wild about the stock setup (readability, pricey repairs, etc.). Thanks Much!

I did it.

Well, yessir there, Ken, you did indeed! Thanks for the pic;the result is something like what I envision--minus the complete interior teardown, of course. How big a proposition was the gauge (spelled it right this time) hookup/adaptation?

The bad thing about my installation is that I had everything completely stripped out of the interior, and started basically from scratch. I really don't know what's involved with tying into the existing gauge harness. I think -=Jeff=- may have an idea of how to tie the analog gauges into the old harness. He should see this thread before long. ;)

try looking at batee.com/corvette I think there is an article there on the subject too.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to leave mine as is, or do something to the aluminum to enhance the look; maybe a black anodize, or something black. I just don't know yet. :hb
