I am having problems with my 1990 L-98. The fuel pressure leaks down to zero within 1 hour after shutting down. I have replaced the fuel pump and the pressure regulator. I am sure it is not either of above since I pinched the fuel lines at the tank and still have the leak down. The manual says to check the fuel injectors for leaking but does not state how.

Please help!!!!!

Thank you

George

Your car is 28 years old. Injectors of that vintage are not compatible with ethanol-oxygenated gasoline. It's likely you have one or more leaking injectors.

Replace the injectors with newer parts which are compat. with E10.

The factory service manual will explain how to replace them.

I had the same problem.I changed the injectors and now life is back to normal
