Lebanon Valley

Was thinking of taking my 81 stocker down to Lebanon Valley Speedway in NY to see how it does in the 1/4 mile and against other vettes? in same time trials.

A friend of mine has been there several times,with his camaro and said it was great.
I called for some info,and you can run stockers or whatever on saturdays for $30. Like to try it just one time.
Anyone been to Lebanon valley,and if so how did you do,like it,and how many times can you run for the $30. Ken

I went there once last summer and once the summer before. It's a lot of fun. I went on Wednesday nights when they have the bracket racing. You don't have to do the racing portion, as you can just do "test and tune". It was $20. The bracket racing is open to anyone. You should be able to get atleast a half dozen runs in a few hours.

I always got smoked off the line (poor r/t on my part) but our highway gears in the rearend don't help either. My vette took off when I hit 3rd gear. I think I ran a 14.0 (modified engine & exhaust).

I'll probably head out to the tack sometime this summer after I get a few miles on the vette. This rain hasn't allowed me to drive it since I took it out of storage 2 weeks ago!
