How do I get to the left front blinker lamp on a c5 to change it?

Just changed mine on the right, Easiest way is to jack up the front or drive on ramps then take out the 7 screws on the acess panel diredtly under lamp position. It's pretty straight forward once you take a look at it. Someone else suggested I try going in from the top with a raised headlight and removing the hood stopper. But you would have to have really thin arms to get it from there.

Good Luck.

Thanks

Thanks, TooTall I'll try it.

What engineer thought up a turn signal lamp that has to be changed from UNDERNEATH the car??

Believe it or not, the guy who does my mechanic work, stuck his arm in the hole and changed my lamp, lol.

My mechanic moved the brake cooling duct out of the way and stuck his arm in there.

I did the same thing as well. Pused the brake cooling duct out of the way and stuck my hand up in there to access the bulb. It's a tight fit but I got it changed.

The front of my car looked odd as there was one orange DRL and one white. I went and bought the appropriate bulb and change it out. Inspecting the bulb showed what was left of the orange coloring painted on the bulb which had been burned off. Seems the previous owner just grabbed an orange bulb without checking to make sure it was the correct type for the car and it ran way too hot. Glad it didn't burn anything other than the paint on the bulb.
