Those of you who remember my post: Sad, Sad Day

This sig shown below is the lemonade that came out of that fire.

As described on ebay:

Vehicle Description

Simply put, NEAR FLAWLESS, this 1969 Corvette had a frame off restoration & was Bloomington GOLD Certified in 1986 on June 29th, scoring sheets are included. This is one of the FINEST high optioned 69's you will find. Very, very rare triple black 2 top convertible with air conditioning, it also sports, leather seats with headrests, power steering, power brakes, power windows, am/fm radio, tilt, telescopic, factory alarm, redine tires, fender inserts, 4 speed transmission. Everything is as it was the day it was built. Must been seen true truly aapriciate all the hard work, time & money that went into this car. It is a numbers matching 350/350 motor. It appeared in Vette Vues Magazine on page # 58 vol 15 number 3 titled Bloomington 1986. Very correct car with frame markings, and available photos of the frame off restoration. Fiber optics work, as well as all gauges, radio, clock & even the wipers & wiper door.......!!!

Thanks,
Rick

:) :) :)

It's beautiful!!! Do you have it home yet?
Does it ease the pain of the previous one's demise?

That's awesome Rick! Now when people at car shows ask you about how you got that car you'll have one heck of a story to share.

Now that is some sweet lemonade! :upthumbs

No it's not home YET. It's in Long Island, and I'm in Tampa. Working on that project next.
Losing the other '69 still is tough. I had a lot of heart in that car. I think this one will "help the suffering". :) :)

Thanks Mike. I know you were following the other thread.

Special thanks to 71Shark. He took the sellers photo from ebay and edited the backround.
Thanks Eric. And your right, boy have I got some stories to tell.

That is some mighty tasty lemonaide.

I'm glad things are looking up! I'm sure you can't wait to get behind the wheel of that awesome car!

Wow!! That Corvette is definitely cherry. I was also following that thread and I was honestly sad when I read that because no true Corvetter wants to hear a story like that, but this has definitely ended happy. I'm glad that you have found her. She's beautiful!! :D Enjoy! :)

What a beaut! Way to go Rick! I'm glad to see you didn't waste any time and jumped right back in with both feet! :beer

Congrats!

This won't replace the one you lost, but this '69 will give you its' own memories.

Thank you everyone. I think the challage, might be getting it shipped to Fla. Some of these compaines email you one price, then when you call them the price is a litte higher ( Oh ya, did you want insurance on that?)
That experence will be another post later.
For now......still dreaming.
