Does anybody have the same problem when turning off lights they close down and the elect motor still run on for a few seconds.
Wondering if there is a hidden problem or do the need some adjustment

limit switches inside the headlite drive motor/actuator assy. FSM will walk ya thru the process.

Your gear bushings need butter, cause they're toast. They hold the 'stop contact' in place (in a manner of speaking...).

When dis-assembling, be careful of 2 small parts - a lone ball bearing at the end of the worm drive, and the motor brush springs.

A spot of grease will hold the ball bearing in the end of the drive during re-assembly. Fishing line will hold the brushes in place when the armature is re-inserted. Seems like it takes 3 hands, 2 turtledoves, and a partridge in a pear tree to hold 'em all too!
