Location of 1982 Fuel Filter

I previously posted this on the C3 Mods forum. I believe this is the more appropriate forum since my question is not to modify but a genaral question ?

I want to change my Fuel Filter on my 1982 Vette. I have purchased the filter through Ecklers but I can't seem to locate where the fuel filter is on my vette.

Also, is there any tips or techniques I should know about the fuel filter before I change it. I know it is a pressurized fuel system and not sure if I need any special tools to change it.

Location of 82 fuel-filt.

This puppy is located under the passenger floor broad, going towards the frame. It shoud be a pressured type cannister, its bracked to the frame. May have to raise front end, go under it to get a good view. The gasoline seems to drain out of the line (tank) for awhile, make sure well vented air is around and no sparks devices around. Removal and replacement is easy, good luck.
