Locks for the targa?

I just read that in a fairly new post. I had no idea.. where can I get this? My targa is in bad shape it makes a good target.

FYI Sorry this is over a month late, Goat, and might be too late. Just ran across your post again. You can find these locks at www.zip-corvette.com. At least in the on-line cataloge or the paper one. Nothing but some 'key' coded bolts and socket that adapts to your top wrench. Cost about 16 bucks.

I went to that web site, and found nothing on Targa top locks, could you be a little more specfic on where to look?

Sorry, caddy. They are listed in the free cataloge I ordered. I thought that they would also be on their web site, but you're right. They're not there. I even typed in the part# (HT-341, Roof Panel Locks) and it couldn't find it at their On-Line Store. Strange.
Anyway, their cataloge is free and only takes about a week or so to get it. They're listed on page 36. $15.95
Guess you could order them at 1-800-962-9632. Someone actually answers the phone.

Thanks, I thought for a while there I was going nuts, I couldn't find the locks, I went and ordered the free catalog, so I'll look for them as soon as I get it.....................

The typical locks that I have seen are just substitute top bolts that instead of Torx-40 head, are a "High Security" Torx-40 head. This has a pin in the center of the socket head that prevents a normal T-40 bit from being inserted. The only issue is that getting a "High-Security" T-40 bit is a short trip to your local auto parts jobber.
