Hi,

I'm looking for a good second hand 3:55 Ring and pinion for my 1974 corvette. I currently have 3.08. they work fine for highway and gas milleage but I"m more into acceleration.

I've checked and anything that came out of a 1963 to 1979 would fit in mine.

Anyone has a set for sale?

Let me know

Thanks

I'd be very reluctant to use a second hand ring and pinion from another diff. Once they are 'run in' and adapt to each other, it's almost impossible to then install them somewhere else and expect the same wear pattern.

Not worth taking a chance.

Hey Daniel,

I have a 3.70 high performance ring and pinion set - still new in the box.
I was looking a refurbishing the rear, but will not get to it any time soon! PM me if you're interested. Not sure how much shipping would be to Canada.

I personally like the 3.70:1 ratio. It has a good "kick" at take off, and the RPMs on the highway are tolerable.
