Looking for C3 Help!

Folks,

I am normally on the C2 Forum, but have a C3 Forum question hope someone can help with. I have an opportunity to get my hands on the following shocks and I am trying to determine what application they were on. Here is what I know:

Front shocks - #4949705 - say DELCO and PLIACELL have a datecode of 089-72 and a white decal with yellow letters "PE"

Rear shocks - #4949820 - say DELCO and PLIACELL have a datecode of 059-72 and a white decal with yellow letters "PY"

Based on datecode, believe these are 1972 shocks and I think they are FE-7 application or the "gymkhana" package?

thanks for the info - was hoping they were F41's and/or FE-7 and I could use
