Looking for NOS / Original Windshield Gasket

[FONT=&quot] I think it was used in 58-62, windshield gasket – lip that sits on the dash pad has two raised ribs (called double heat stitch in the manuals) on the bottom. My friend's 1962 has the original but says its brittle and can’t be reused in his ongoing restoration. [/FONT]

I'm going to guess that windshield weatherstrip made more than 50 years ago is probably going to be as in poor condition as the existing unit.

My suggestion would be to shop the Corvette aftermarket parts makers for a reproduction part of recent manufacture. Zip Products has all the C1 windshield weatherstrips and rubber shims. I just looked at their site for that stuff and found it.
