Just checked the Bill of Sale I drew up for the guy who strung me along for days and 'finally decided' buy mine when I had it up for sale -- Mike Moore. Per his request I take a ton of pictures and sent them to him. We talked for 2-3 days and finally agreed on a price and how to make the deal work. I got a noterized bill of sale and made copies of all my documentation and provided him the name and number of good car carrier. Once we had all the details worked out and he was supposed to let me know when the truck was to arrive and he had sent the money -- I never heard from him again. Tried to call him a couple of times and got his machine -- calls not returned. If he was serious and just changed his mind or a situation arose that prevented him from completing the deal, I figure he would have called (returned one of my calls) and told me. Since he didn't, I just chalked him up a flake.

Had I not seen the e-mails Surf was sent, it would not have been so painfully obvious that something was going on there - I still recall how tough your B2K deal way up in NY over that situation

There are too many con artists out there, l wouldn't sell any car unless l had a certified check from a US bank that l heard of and had my bank check it out.

as far as a check from overseas, forget about it!

Today you have to be real carefull and l mean it.

It's sad that people do this to other people for fun(?)

I look at the posts and also see familiar screen names that I feel I at least recognize if not actually know. I know it's "just an internet forum" but people here treat each other almost as family. I came on here with no hopes of getting a Vette and members made me feel welcome anyways so now I keep the faith.

I see a welcome bestowed upon this loser and members trying to help (as they do so often here!!) and give advice and encouragement. I find it an abuse of the kind hearted helpfulness and comraderie of the people here.

I only wish I had time to read all the info on this forum!!

Anyways. Thank you all for being here and please don't let a-holes llike this ruin it for everyone else.
