i purchased a 1984 vette a few weeks ago. The car had been sitting for 2yrs with a half tank of gas in it. the car ran fine for the first 20 miles then when we got on the back roads with hills, the car would not do over 45mph. So far we checked the fuel in the tank compared to new fuel and it looks real good. We changed the fuel filter and the o2 sensor and still have the same problem. we disconnected the cat with no change. I have new injectors coming into my store this coming Monday and am looking for any other input to help me get through this situation. Car is to sharp looking to be sitting around with such nice weather. PLEASE HELP!!!

Didin't see that you checked fuel pressure.Might be a fuel pump or regulator problem.

I have never worked on it but have read there are hoses on the fuel pump assembly that can crack and leak.

Great we will look at that also. We found a major leak on the intake gasket so we will be looking into everyone's input and information we are given. Thanks
