Loss of power

Well here is the worst driving story of my life! Took out the 2001 Magnetic Red convertible for the first time yesterday after buying it in December. It was running like a champ all day, until I was heading down a long gradual sloping hill. I noticed a loss of power and then it stalled out (taking the power steering with it). I was able to restart the engine only for it to die again.

As luck would have it, there was a Chevy dealer I knew of lees than a mile away. After some rather embarrassing stalling and bucking…I made it to the service department. I have yet to find out what is wrong as I has to leave it overnight. I assume it is a fule delivery issue, but who knows!!

That has to stink , it sounds like you could of went into (Limp Mode ) for some reason . If you let the car sit on empty or little gas in the tank , the gas could have varnished up in the lines and clog the pump .Let us know what happens . Good Luck !
Thanks,
Joe

Well, this one was self inflicted. Turns out the new twin flow K&N induction system came loose and affected the MAF sensor causing it to shut down....

My bad!

Well at least it was not a major problem. The good news is that you get to drive your Vette.

Well thre are 2 good endings to this story: 1) The Chevy dealer didn't fabricate a problem and 2) You can now enjoy a cruise!:Steer
