Louvers on Tail Lamps: Yes or No / Black or Chromed?

I went with the "Phantom" tail light and license plate frame louvers in balck. They'd look nice on your black Vette.:cool

Went with neither one for now.. might stay that way.
Ended up with a pair of damaged HREs and awaiting a reply from the company re: process of fixing them

I asked in the C6 forum since nearly everyone here Owns or did Own a C5.. best audience to poll!

Since you're asking for opinions, I think louvered taillights are tacky. They're non-functional and do nothing for the styling.

Thanks - Considering going with the flush mount kit and leaving the louvers out of the equation.
