I saw on another thread disscusing lowering a C5. Not catching it from the start can any one help out.

1. does it affect any sensors, steering, wheel well clearance.
2. how does it effect the ride.
3. how easy is it.
4. how is it done.

Well I got the perfect sight for you (I hope). Anyway's i got this thread yesterday and printed it up. I will be lowering my front end when i get my car out of storage next week. I have already lowerd the back very, very easy. The front sounds just as easy. Anyway's I have heard nothing bad regarding side affects from lowering the car. The only ones i know of are - little rougher ride (not much), but better handeling, and the other would be scraping the bottom.
I am just going to lower the front to the point where the car has just a little less gap but still maintaing comprimised hight were it won't scrap that easy. The back was lowerd to the point where the bolt's came down to the max, I did not cut any of the bushing's. I am satisfied. Looks good to me. All personal preference. Anyway's the web site is www.corvetteforum.com when you get in click on C5/tech/performance on the left hand side. Then go to page 2 and scroll down to app the 54th line and you will se Lowering a C5. Click on that and i hope your happy.
GOOD LUCK!
