Lowering Proceedures?

Is there a link or can anyone give me the basics on lowering my 84? I am only lookin at lowering it an inch. Does this require special parts? Is there any tricks that make it easier? Any help would be appriciated.

Go to Mid America's Web site for info. Just too much work for me, then realighnment. It sucks bigtime.
