Common knowledge tpi was for 305, they cast a new tpi for big cube motors? Way back with first MAFS.

While that might be true that the TPI was originally developed for use on the 305, the 350, which came out at the same time, seemed to do fine. Subsequently, other runner designs and plenum porting options became popular, including siamesed runners like the SLP runer or welded up Traco designs.
Other options over the years, have included polymer intakes and extrude honing. While one was to supposedly control heat soak of the intake, the other was to smooth the interior passages in ways that manual porting could never achieve. :cool
Now, regarding the FIRST technologies intake, it does not look as if the hard parts as Aurora put it, will bolt up. Look at the bolt pattern on the inlet of the throttle body - how close does it match the rams-horn that must be attached?
IIRC, the FIRST Tech design could have its throttle body mounted on the side or the front, making it a fine choice for street rods with clearance issues for inlets.
